Very good small town breakfast place. My wife and I like driving around el dorado country on the weekends and finding good places to eat. This place is small but the food is good. I highly recommend it.

We finally tried this locally owned breakfast place. It's been a long time coming. We came here on Memorial Day for late breakfast. It was really good. A little outdated inside but gives it that charm, and definitely locals come here. It kind of smelled like old grease outside of building though. It's a mom and pop place they've own for almost 2 decades. Hubby had Loco Moco, which we've never tried before, and it was really good. I had a potato scramble without the eggs, which was excellent as well. The owner served us and the wife cooks in the kitchen. What's interesting, Is the fire department across the street rarely comes in there from what he told us, which is odd for the name of the café. Anyways, we will be back. Next time we want to eat out for breakfast.

Had the garden frittata. Interesting mix of veggies: peppers and onions of course, but also eggplant. Surprising and good. Served on top of a thin layer of very crispy hash browns. Not sure I've ever had anything quite like it. Very tasty. My wife and son had more conventional breakfast faves and loved them. Good service. Charming little spot.

Great service, and good breakfast. I haven't found any place in the area that has better white gravy. They also have loco moco on the menu!

$10 for a $15 breakfast burrito? No way! But yes, it's true, and it is the BEST Breakfast Burrito in the County! I bought one to go (see image below) but was soon overwhelmed by the delicious aroma. Needles to say, my burrito for lunch time at work, quickly turned into my burrito for the commute to work. Note to self: Next time order two.

As their write up states - a Mom & Pop place with good food. Brian has welcomed us both times we have been there. We have had good food & attentive service - place is Not big so easy to feel special & welcomed. Prices are very reasonable. Reading some of the other reviews (lower ratings) - we did Not experience the same. We found it a great small-town place to eat & being served.
